I treated myself to a memory foam mattress topper by @linen.spa and it got here today. Man, I wish I’d gotten one of these sooner!! It’s only 2" thick, but it’s completely changed the way my bed feels for the better!! My hips don’t feel like they’re digging into the mattress anymore and my shoulders feel more supported when I’m on my side. Earlier I took a little nap on it and I couldn’t believe how quickly I drifted off or how rested I felt when I woke up - and none of my joints had dislocated or subluxated!! I’d definitely recommend this to my fellow Spoonies on the quest for a good night’s sleep.

This year kicked off with a symptom flare that really dragged me down into some dark places. But it reminded me that my value is not intrinsically connected to how much I produce. I am enough as I am. Even sick. Even in the middle of a flare, barely able to keep down water, and feeling too weak to get off the couch. My worth is so much more than my physical abilities.
Anybody who can’t get with that can kiss my tattooed ass.

Dyed my hair the usual two shades of red, but for the past couple of times I’ve been working on lifting the color on the underside to be bright red like my bangs. It finally came out as two distinct shades this go ‘round, and I’m stoked with the way it looks!
